Bible Readings : Acts 11.27-12.22 Psalm 126, 2 Corinthians 4.7-15, Matthew 20.20-28

James was an apostle, the brother of John the apostle, and the son of Zebedee, the fisherman. He was present at the bringing to life of Jairus’ daughter, and at the Transfiguration. He was beheaded by Herod Agrippa in 42AD.

His example of being with Jesus serves as a reminder for how we can ‘be’ with Jesus today.
