Bright Light Service offers an alternative to Halloween. Held towards the end of October, children and their families dress up in superhero costumes or bright fancy dress (definitely no ghouls, witches or wizards allowed) and celebrate the light of the world…torches are a must! Followed by hotdogs and juice.

Christingle is a service held in December where we celebrate the light of Jesus in our lives. Led by Step Up. Come along as we light up church with candles.  There is a collection the Childrens’ Society, a national charity that runs local projects, helping children and young people when they are at their most vulnerable, and have nowhere left to turn.

Christmas Eve we have our Crib Service in Church at 4pm. Children join in the building of the nativity and you may even see a donkey…
