If you’ve never visited the Parish Office then you won’t know the story of Jonah. Not Jonah and the whale, but Jonah the goldfish. He recently celebrated his seventh anniversary of being the office pet. Lytham Club Day seven years ago he was abandoned; thrown over the wall and left to die in his little plastic bag after being won at the fair. Praise the Lord, Jonah came to St Cuthbert’s and was saved, hallelujah. Here he is in his freshly cleaned fish bowl fit & healthy and always hungry.

Don’t forget to bring your burgers and sausages to church tomorrow for the BBQ afterwards on the vicarage lawn. Should you forget then there will be time after the service to nip out and get some food. For anyone who hasn’t bought food there are a few tickets left at £4. See Nick or Bev after the service or at the BBQ
